Ivana Bacanek's expertise spans art direction, type design and brand design. She is a designer with a strong background in visal communications. During her studies she received an Annual Award for visual identity and signage project. She earned her Master’s degree in Visual Communications Design from the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb, Croatia, graduating with great honor.

With confidence and passion in every phase of the brand identity process developing comprehensive design systems, Ivana has participated in several international competitions. She won the competition for the visual identity of the University of Rijeka Foundation in 2016 and was a finalist in the Taiwan International Students Design Competition. In collaboration with her colleague, she received a bronze award at the TerraViva logo design competition and two gold awards in branding and logo design at the Indigo Design Awards 2024. Her work has been recognized at Zagreb Design Week, where she was a finalist with three projects in 2023 and two in 2024.

As a Jury member for the TerraViva International Design Competition, Ivana brings her expertise in brand identity to evaluate and celebrate innovative ideas. Ivana lives and works in Zagreb as Founder of VIDI Visual Design Studio, helping top software development company, digital marketing agency and other worldwide clients in brand design.
